Introducing our Retreat Curators… Flynn and Stef.

Fog + Sage is our labor of love and the culmination of our complementary skills, ideas, and experiences. We were inspired to custom design a restorative retreat for women like us – professionals left uninspired by corporate conferences, introverts overwhelmed by superficial bonding activities, and plugged-in urbanites ready to reconnect and recharge.

We share a passion for creativity, connection, social impact, self-care, and of course, storytelling. Between the two of us, we’ve lived in 20 countries and we speak 7.5 languages. We also happen to care about animals, women-led businesses, slow fashion, and quiet spaces in thriving cities. We love to laugh and brainstorm at a local cafe, a ritual we've been sharing since we first met (on Instagram!). Stef takes her coffee black and Flynn relishes her green tea.

We came up with “Fog + Sage” because we were inspired to take our own names and transform them into a concept that combines our passions and skills in a perfect blend of whimsical thought and grounded wisdom, connection to others and self-expression, creative ideas and ways to take action. The idea for Fog + Sage was born in our beloved Northern California, where we met and planned our first retreat.

"Flynn is a wonderful speaker and an equally wonderful listener, who truly values the flow between teacher and students. She has an endless store of energy and insights to share, which is picked up by everyone else in the room. She also has a remarkable ability to bring people together--in the workshop I attended, she found the commonalities among our disparate backgrounds and professional interests and facilitated an incredible exchange of thoughts and experiences between us. It was inspiring and energizing both on personal and professional levels."

"Working with Stef opened my eyes to an entirely new way of thinking. When we began our work together, I knew what I did for my clients, but I had no idea how to truly articulate it. Creating a visual story and allowing my brand to be something you could see not only helped me understand what my brand looked like, but what it truly feltlike. Stef breathed life into my brand where I never thought it was possible. Holding my hand every step of the way down a path that otherwise would have been unknown and intimidating, she allowed me to play, explore and discover. I not only see my own brand differently, but the world around me. By working with Stef I’ve gained confidence, clarity, direction and a new friend."

"I took a workshop with Flynn last year and I would definitely take another one! She's great at getting people to think in a more creative way. I think that anyone can benefit from doing the exercises that Flynn lead in her workshop. She has a way of helping one to think differently and it inspires creative breakthroughs. Flynn is an amazing teacher-- she has an ability to keep things "light hearted" while also getting down to business and really inspiring growth. I would highly recommend taking a workshop with Flynn!"
